Massage Therapy is the art and science of treating the body through massage techniques. Massage techniques are directed at the soft tissue of the body creating an effect on the musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, neurological, and gastrointestinal systems. The therapist will adapt the pressure, direction, rhythm, rate, duration, and location of treatment to the body according to the body’s needs. The purpose of massage therapy is to prevent and rehabilitate injuries.
All treatments at Life Therapies are outcome based, which involve specific therapeutic effects geared to the client’s needs. At Life Therapies, every treatment will be tailored to the individual needs of the client. Our goal is to restore normal functioning, reduce pain and educate the client on how to maintain optimal health.
