Osteopathic Manual Practitioner: Our founder, Elliot Vlad, a former world athlete in gymnastics, established the Life Therapies clinic following years of physical therapy after suffering a near fatal car accident while training in Ireland, which left him paralyzed. His perseverance and determination to overcome great physical and emotional challenges, including teaching himself to walk again, inspired him to help others make pain-free living a reality.

Registered Physiotherapist: Tamara Bond-Vlad knew from a young age that she wanted to be a physiotherapist. She loves her chosen career, especially working with people to improve their physical condition and helping them live pain-free. As our registered physiotherapist, she treats one client at a time in private sessions in order to maximize the quality of the treatment. This allows for a more comprehensive treatment, which, in turn, makes for a speedier recovery.

Oksana LutsiukOsteopathic Manual Practitioner
Oksana worked as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Ukraine for 18 years. In 2018 she moved to Canada and pursued her interest in Osteopathy, writing a thesis on osteopathic treatments for hip joint pain due to osteoarthritis. Today her work focuses on reducing joint pain and restoring joint mobility through osteopathic joint mobilization techniques and muscle energy, visceral, and cranial techniques.

Chelsey AyresRegistered Kinesiologist
Chelsey has extensive experience in functional rehabilitation for a diverse population including post-surgical and chronic pain clients. Her treatments focus on muscle cuing, education, and retraining. Chelsey’s goal is to retrain muscles to work effectively and efficiently in order to reduce pain, improve range of motion, and ultimately improve strength and function.
