Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Elsa Ramstein, an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner from France, joined Life Therapies in 2016. Elsa graduated with a Masters in Osteopathy from the prestigious European School of Osteopathy in England in 2015. Prior to coming to Canada, she worked at a busy osteopathic clinic in France.
Elsa’s goal in treatment is to address the main cause of dysfunction thereby encouraging the body’s natural healing process. Her approach considers the patient as a whole, and by using gentle structural and functional hands-on techniques, such as craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, visceral manipulation, and osteoarticular mobilization, she is able to bring balance to the structure of the body.
She treats a wide range of patients including adults with various structural issues, babies, children, pregnant women, pre/post natal, and the elderly. She has a special interest in treating headaches, post-natal, infants and children.
Elsa is a thoughtful and empathetic practitioner and cares deeply about her patients’ health and wellbeing. In the management of her patients, Elsa always takes into account not only their complaint but also how this affects them on a daily basis and gives them advice so they can best manage their condition and become aware of how to improve their health.
Elsa was brought up in the French Alps and has a passion for the mountains and outdoor activities. Moving to Canada has always been a dream of hers.
Elsa’s Hours: Monday 8am – 5pm, Tuesday and Thursday 2:30pm -8:30pm, Wednesday 2:30pm -8:00pm, and alternating Fridays and Saturdays 8am – 3pm.
