DAWN HAM, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Dawn Ham, Registered Massage Therapist, graduated from the Everest College Massage Therapy Program in 2011. Dawn initially focused on prenatal massage and naturally progressed to working with infants and children. She was inspired to further her training and became an Infant Massage Instructor as well as Certified Paediatric Massage Therapist.
Dawn has enjoyed working with people of all ages, from a baby only 12 hours old to a 96 year-old individual. As well as children, Dawn also enjoys working with athletes, musicians, desk-jockeys, individuals with repetitive strain injuries, and people with manual professions where unhindered movement is very important.
She’s had great success with post surgical scar mobilizations and has helped people regain flexibility that they thought they had permanently lost. Dawn’s goal with all of her clients is to use her skills to help them live a pain-free, active lifestyle.
At work, Dawn is often accompanied by Brennan, her hypo-allergenic labradoodle, who is in training to become Dawn’s Hearing-Ear Service Dog. Fourteen years ago, Dawn was diagnosed with idiopathic degenerative hearing loss. She left her career in television and broadcasting and began her journey into the health field of massage therapy. She communicates excellently with the assistance of hearing aids and lip-reading. She is also fluent in American Sign Language.
In her spare time, Dawn enjoys spending time with her daughter, tinkering with her Jeep, travelling, and visiting museums and historical places.
Dawn is looking forward to helping you achieve your best health. To see Dawn, please contact Life Therapies to schedule your appointment or click below to reserve your massage therapy session online.
