Chelsey Ayres
Registered Kinesiologist

Chelsey graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Regina in 2010. Since graduating, Chelsey has gained extensive experience in functional rehabilitation for a diverse population including post-surgical and chronic pain clients.

Chelsey has taken numerous post-graduate courses including post-concussive management, cancer rehabilitation, mental health, spinal and musculoskeletal exercise therapy, taping, functional testing and muscle retraining to name a few. Chelsey has been fortunate to work collaboratively with many interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams in the past.

Chelsey’s treatments focus on muscle cuing, education, and retraining. Her goal is to retrain muscles to work effectively and efficiently in order to reduce pain, improve range of motion, and ultimately improve strength and function.

Chelsey also emphasizes education within her treatment sessions as she believes in the importance of helping her clients learn how to take control of their rehabilitation. She believes that exercise itself is truly therapeutic, and Chelsey looks forward to helping her patients discover the vast benefits along their road to functional recovery.

When not at work, you can find Chelsey working out in the gym with her husband or exploring the great outdoors with her daughter.

Chelsey is excited to be working with the team at Life Therapies and looks forward to helping you on your journey to become stronger and healthier.
